Filippo's career in cooking began in the classroom. He attended the State Vocational School for Hotel and Restaurant Management in Assisi, Umbria, then he received a degree from the Department of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Perugia to become a Doctor of Food and Dietary Science. He worked as a chef in some of the best restaurants in Umbria, in addition to 5-star hotels. He has a unique passion for truffles and sports. He is married to Ingrid.
